With the chassis pretty well done, its time to get back to the body. It was nice taking a break from sheet metal work to do mechanical but I cant avoid it forever! Today I fitted the fenders, doors and hood. Welded in the front wheel wells, inner fenders and braces. I love the BroncoDesign hood. Inspiration was from the El Jefe build where he filled in the front scoops.

a little more progress

Got the front end done and welded. Now prepping the underside of the tub for Raptor Liner. I think I am going black underneath and color in the engine bay and interior. Still deciding, may just end up going black.

Got up early to spray the Raptor Liner so I didn't get blasted for working on mothers day. Finished the exhaust and buttoned up some chassis things. Getting close to getting the body and frame married again.

It is starting to look like Bronco again! Body on for fitting and now I am fighting all of the body gap issues. Decided to build it before paint and tear it back down after it is finished for the paintwork. Need to cut the fenders and fit the flares as well this week.

Let the fun begin! I feel like I owe JefeAZ a consulting fee for using so many of his LUBR F8 ideas. We just happen to have similar taste so I appreciate it!

Dash design finished

Finally decided on a dash design and mocked it up to check fit. Now I'll tear it apart to start the wiring

trying to keep the engine bay tidy. With the Dakota and Sniper, a lot of the wiring will go under the dash. Minimal to hang in there and on the fender well.
