Another power steering dilema

I have recently been having power steering issues with my trail truck.

Specs:
71
Full width axles
36" Bias Iroks
6 turn box - rebuilt via West TX offroad last summer.
GM/Saginaw style pump.
All new hoses/no leaks

When I put this setup on my truck near the end of last summer, it worked fabulous. Steering effort was minimal even on the rocks.

Last trip out over memorial weekend, the steering effort significantly increased and now to the point in which it does not even seem as if there is any PS. I thought the pump had failed, so I bought a new pump, replaced it and bled via the lock to lock method (which I have always done successfully). I should mention that I double checked all the ball joints and other steering components and nothing is binding.

I'm out of ideas. Could the box have gone bad? Suggestions on how to proceed?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe got trash in the system? I'm not sure how you'd get what is there out, but I know from previous experience that getting any large particulates down in the pump or box can cause what you're describing.

Anyone else have any thoughts? Not sure how I would have gotten any particles in the boix. Everything was new....
