I believe it was one of the early 66 productions done on '65.

I've never seen a cover on them. when the top changed over from the square corners in the liftgate opening to the radius, they changed did away with the holes. those early tops just had a tab that went into the stake pocket instead of the bolt in leg like the later tops.

Sounds like a new product... Hint hint Nicks Trix. Since it has now come to light, I would be proud to show off this new product (peek a boo hard top corner covers) brought to your attention. You could maybe integrate them as an interior light source or something so I don't have to make them. This is gonna be great.

When can I get a set????????!!!!!!!

Only joking but Feel free to make some and send'em over.

I have the same holes in my hard top, I dont know what year bronco it is off of, not a 66 as the lock is in the handle on the lift gate.

Bouree, that is true, all the holes line up on the bed sides but only the two outside holes line up with the windshield frame. Do you know how many different mounting hole configurations there were?

Thanks half cab, I missed that post. My bronco is a 70 but dont know if its early or late 70, I wonder if some early 70 broncos got vacuum wipers? Gonna have to go measure my wiper holes and see if the frame was electric or vacuum, I think it is the original windshield frame.

Back on topic, I think I am going to make some metal covers for the holes in back and just screw it on to cover them up. Or maybe find some LED lighting that will fit in the holes and wire it up for lighting in the back of the bronco;)

The lighting is what I'm gonna try. I hinted around for n. Trix to make something we could all try out a prototype. Hee hee
