Anyone have pics of 1977 rear fuel tank braces?

I have a 1977 and the rear skid plate is gone. Anyone have a pictures of what holds the tank in place between the frame rails...It does have the top strap a j hook in place but nothing on the bottom..

The rear tank is mounted/strapped to the skid pan. Then the pan is bolted to the frame.

Thanks thats what I was afraid of. So looks like a skid plate will be on order then.

I don't think you can buy a 77 skid plate. It was one year only. My 77 has the slots in the frame to use and earlier style rear tank that uses a strap across the bottom of the tank

It's a big ole shell I had to rebuild mine, don't think you can buy new, might try the parts wanted section!! Good luck!!;D;D

An aftermarket skid plate is available. Doesn't look like it is "factory" correct but should work.

That aftermarket one looks much better than stock anyway.
