on page 7. They are making matching
rear interior panels made of brushed alum.
has anyone called about the $$? I need to
do something, mine are starting to show
their age.

Hi, I thought one of the guys would have seen this already and answered... they aren't on the website yet, but they should be $199 for the set, including the brackets and stainless screws. They were due back from the grainer this week (they had to go back because they grained the wrong side!) otherwise they would have been ready a couple weeks ago. I don't know if they've come in, I haven't talked to the office today. (We are in Moab for EJS and my cell service bites!) Just give the guys a call or drop them a line @ techsupport@jamesduff.com and they can let you know! Suzanne

No backing. We left them plain for the guys who may want to modify them by cutting holes to use them for storage boxes. I had a similar design on Hi-Ho for at least three years before we took them off to prototype from last spring, since I had so many people ask if we sold them. I can't say that I really noticed a difference in noise... of course, my tub is Armacoated/Line-X'd. Hope this helps! Suzanne

hey suzanne,

I have the stock ones, will
the ones you make fit the stock
brackets? Do they attach in the
same places?

Thanks
Robert

Yes, the mounts we supply mount in the same places as stock, thus I assume the stock mounts would work just fine. (We haven't tested on our '76 that had stock ones yet...) However, we don't pre-lasercut any holes, so you can mount them any way you wish. Also, the bottoms will most likely need trimmed a little to clear each individual vehicles' roll bar floor mounts. Hope this helps. --Suzanne
