Apologies - 1991 F250 question

I know this isn't the place for this question, but I am stuck. My brother is an avid member here and said that you guys would know anything about Fords in general. I have a 1991 F250 that won't start. I turn the key and the dash lights, radio, heater, etc, all work, but the engine doesn't turn. The engine doesn't make a sound at all. I checked my battery and it is fully charged. I'm thinking (hoping) it might be a problem with the fuse, but I have looked and can't find much information for 91 F250s and don't know where the fuse is for the starter. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I'd turn the key to the ON position, and try to jumper the starter solenoid and see if that starts it. If so, bad solenoid. Otherwise, possibly the ignition on the column, they're known to go bad.

X2 on jumping the realy just make sure you are in park or neutral. the a accuator rod they breaks quite often on tilt column trucks. When the accuator rod breaks the ignition switch under the column won't get pushed into the crank posotion. They should all STOP working when the key is in START. If they just stay on like the key is in RUN, then the most-likely reason is that the ignition actuators are broken. They're not expensive at any parts store, but they're a royal PITA to install. Study these:

There's a thread in the Tech Writeups forum on FullSizeBronco.com about replacing them, and I think it has step-by-step pics. If you don't wanna DIY, call your local used-car lots & independent repair shops for the name/number of a steering column specialist who will come to you & do the work. It's usually a $100-200 job.
