• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Hey,

This is kind of a long-shot. Our Dana 20 with Teralow gears blew up yesterday. The front wheel drive side broke and shattered the Gear Gawker cover. The transfer case hasn't been pulled yet, so I'm not sure the extent of the damage.

We're on vacation in Moab for 2 more weeks. Best case for getting the Dana 20 rebuilt with Teralow gears is mid week. I've always thought that the front low gear set has been noisy since installing last year.... and I know I'll really be unhappy if we install another set and it's noisy too. I'll always have one ear open to the setup blowing up again.

I'm not sure that it would make sense to look at an Atlas setup, or not. I'm not looking for anything extreme. The Teralow setup with the T18 tranny and the 4.56 gears feels really good for the kind of wheeling we like to do. It would be a compromise to go back to the standard Dana 20 gearing.

I'd drive a few hours for the right hardware. Either a new/used Atlas that could be fit into a '71 Bronco, or at a minimum a set of Teralow gears is what I'm thinking about.

Thanks

Jeff
