Austin area get-together this weekend.

Ok, it's official-I'm inviting all (early) Broncos in and around Austin to come on out to the car show in Albertsons's parking lot at the "Y" in Oak Hill this Saturday evening.<br><br>Get there around 6:30 if you want a good space-and wear your ClassicBroncos.com T-shirt if you've got one.

Welllll.......not good. <br><br>No early Broncos showed up, but there were 2 full-sizes there. I saw a primer gray EB with a hardtop on go by headed west on 71, but it didn't stop. I was there from about 6:30 'till about 8:45--pretty good crowd that night. I get down there every Sat. evening to check out all the cars-easy for me, my house is less than a mile away. This Sat. I'm headed out to Mason to the new Katemcy Rocks Off Road Park to see if my little bro and I can break his TJ. <br><br>I'm still hoping to get most (if not all) of the Austin area EB's together so we can meet and compare rigs-the car show just seemed like a good place and time. Maybe we can try again in a few weeks-anybody interested lemme know.

How about Sat. the 12th?<br><br> The "car show" at the Albertsons's at the Y in Oak Hill happens every Sat night, unless it's pouring down rain or freezing cold, so ya'll can come on out anytime- but I'm putting out the 12th as a date to shoot for to get as many EB's out there at one time as possible. Today's the 1st, so that's a little more lead time. <br><br>My eBronc project is not (anywhere near) the running stage yet, but it's coming along. Body lift is on, doors go back on this week, wiring harness and custom dash are done and go back in real soon, then I can start on brake lines and suspension bushings. I'm still looking for cheap, rebuildable 351W to drop in.
