What's the best way to run the cable on the B&M megashifter! I got one used so I got no directions or the brackets that mount the cable to the tranny! If any one could post up some pics of the cable positon and brackets it would be great!

No pics here at work, but mine goes forward thru the floor, loops around and goes back to the tranny linkage. The only bracket besides the one on the tranny is a simple hose type bracket on one of the bell housing bolts. The cable isn't even tight in this bracket - just there to keep it in place.

BTW: You might want to invest in a few feet of heat shield tubing if the cable goes anywhere near the exhaust.

Yup, ensure you get some sort of heat shield for that cable! I installed a new cable & promptly melted it on the exhaust (what's that smell??).

The second time around %) , I bought some 3/8" fuel line, cut it down the middle, and slipped it over the cable.

How tight of a bend can I put in the cable before it causes a problem?? When the cable goes through the floor, which side of the tranny is the best way to go with the cable?? I got mine going to the left side of the tranny with a big loop so it comes back around to the rear of the shift linkage! Is their any way to flip the tranny shift arm so the cable can mounted from the front???? NEED FEEDBACK!!!

From memory....

Mine's mounted from the front side of the tranny, so yes - there IS a way. It may have to do with the internals of the shifter. I'm not sure, but it's probably possible to set them up to either push or pull the cable. The bend I have makes the loop about 12" or so. I have the heavy duty cable, so it accepts less of a bend than the standard one does.

Since I have an AOD (B&M rachet shifter), it's probably different routing, but sounds like the same routing I have. From the front of the shifter, the cable shoots toward the front of the trans, then loops back around towards the transmission shift lever. I can't see any other way to route since a shorter cable would put a bind on the cable.
