The Demon carb is the same as a holly but with all the little quirks fixed. I’ve got a 625 Road Demon in my Bronco on a slightly modified 302 w/ edelbrock performer package and headers. It makes good power and handles angles and bumps well after I got it leaned down enough for this altitude. Out of the box I had to jet it down 4 sizes both primary and secondary. I also set the float level just below the sight glass. I haven’t ran a 4 barrel holly on an off road truck before, but the Demon kicks the crap out of the old edelbrock I had! I’d definitely recommend it.

I'm happy with my truck avenger. I just found an article where Petersens did a review on it and also were real happy with it, and those guys don't hesitate about tearing something apart.

neither..... unless you only going on the streets. Go with a BC quadrajet or EFI... 8)

I have run a Speed Demon 750 on my bronco with a 351C, it did great offroad. Now I am using a 650 Holley 4150 double pumper and it works great off road and even on steep inclines or declines. I tried using a holley 4160 vacuum sec carb and it just simply sucked offroad! If I change carbs again I think I will try the holley truck avenger, I think they have them in 750cfm now too which is what I want.
