I used a a local photographer and paid her what BaT charges. Yes, don't be afraid to push back open their proposed reserve. I ended up with a reserve less than I initially wanted but more than they proposed. And it sold just above the reserve I wanted, so it would have sold in ay case.

I like using a local photographer. I see that I can post a ton of pics on BAT and I suppose that is a good thing to do. I can also make a driving video and engine running video, and a slow walk around and inside video. I hate to sale it but want to start another one and am out of space. Thanks again for the tips!

Yes, the more pics the better. Also, when the auction is live, monitor the comments and answer promptly. Nothing worse on BaT than the seller not responding to comments/questions.

The high dollar restomod builds Saturday at BJ overall did not do nearly as good as the past auctions. Some of the 150k sales probably lost money with the amount of work that went into them.

That wide fender Godzilla build had to be devastating for the sellers.

I'm putting my 72 frame up build on BAT sometime early Spring after a work trip. Will be interesting to see how it does.
Just the frame? My bad I missed “build” i was thinking BAT is going down hill.

That’s an interesting use of more GM parts. Curious how the fabrication of the tierod was done.

I want to see the date code on the tires lol

Well that is interesting. I wonder how that helps?
Gives more ground clearance for the tie rod.
I wonder if that is some new fangled way to dial in the tie-rod and track bar geometry. Interesting idea.
It does make for a very shallow drag link angle, which is already pretty low because not only do they have the F-Series 2WD steering box with the long sector shaft, but they also have a drop pitman arm on it. In looking closer at the front end, I just realized it's a narrowed 78-79 Bronco/F-150 HP D44 - you can tell by the cast track bar mount on the axle.

Unless I'm missing something, that tie rod is going to make contact with the drag link or Pittman arm with even a small amount of suspension travel/ articulation.
