A very nice Coyote powered 78 Gen 2 went for $77,500 today. That's pretty strong for a Gen 2 even with a Coyote.

I'm in the process of putting my 72 on BaT. Should happen in a week or two. Agree that I've probably missed the peak. Just looking to get a fair price out of it.

That was a good looking '78!

Good luck on your sale, let us know when it's live.

Anyone following this? Bronco had a custom chassis built and they stamped Ryan Weldon's U13 VIN # on it. Ryan hasn't been able to title his original for 2+ years while DMV and authorities try to sort it out

I double, no triple, checked the VINs on my 72 that I'm submitting to BaT. Everything matches! Title, current registration, frame, glovebox warranty tag, door post sticker and Marti Report!

About 6 weeks so far and I'm still probably 1 week from going live. But I delayed them about 2 weeks getting photos. I hired a friend who is a photographer for $200 to take some professional pics. I provided a few of my own and I took all the videos (5). I submitted over 200 pics and they cut a few. They want an additional $250 if they provide the photographer but it's not available in all areas. It took a while to get them all the info needed to approve and to agree on a reserve. They pushed (not really very hard) to go no reserve but with a patina build which will somewhat limit the buyers I was not comfortable with no reserve. Once "approved" and I paid the fee it has gone very fast. I have approved their listing draft and just waiting on scheduling now. I have sold Broncos on eBay and 1 at Mecum. So far this is the best experience.

I'm glad you took the liberty of explaining P and Q builds on the sales ad so the rest of us wouldn't have to lol :) :) :)

There is definitely a large error bar on the mean prices depending on "things." This why it is good to have a reserve value that is centered on the trend, I think.

And this rattle can 72"roadster" is sitting at 40k with two days left. This market is like the housing market roller coaster.
