It works for me. If everyone else is good with it, lets go ahead and close it on the 30th.

I received my optishift yesterday. The folks at Baumann were great, I can't wait to use it. Thanks again for setting up the mass buy. The eb brotherhood is the best.

I recieved mine a few weeks back. Just haven't had the time to log on and post it. I still haven't opened the box yet.

Baumann...

My question is this...why doesn't Baumann make the controller easier to mount OR make it so you can plug in a remote LED readout so you can mount it "cleanly" somewhere?

Once you get one of these you realize that with multiple plugs and a couple dozen wires coming out of the controller that there isn't ANY clean looking place to mount it.
If enough of us ask (I have and Baumann said they have had many requests) maybe they will make a remote plug to connect an LCD readout. This could be mounted on the shifter, dash, above the "A" pillar...literally dozens of places you can't really mount the controller now because of the wires coming out of several different sides and the selector knob....

Thoughts?

I suggested the same to them, there is so much good information that the controller can give feedback for that it does seem a waste to not have it able to be displayed nicely. I would love to be able to mount a 4x6 display for all the feedback.

Up For Sale is a Boumann Optishift that I bought in the last mass buy on this forum back in October 2011. Is programmed to run the GM 4L60/ 4L80. I was going to install an Isuzu 4BD1T into my GMC Sierra using the Isuzu Diesel Swappers kit that I have purchased but decided to sell the engine, the adapter and the transmission controller.

Like I mentioned the Optishift is programed to run the GM transmission but it can be programmed to run the Ford transmission. It has never been used or installed it remained all this time in the box.

Optishift Price $425.00 included in price shipping to USA via USPS.

Isuzu Swapper Adapter $525.00

I just had a conversation with Carl at Baumann, He wanted me to pass on:

The Opti shift name has been changed to US shift, it is the same product

They will be coming out with some new products soon, with better pricing.

They are very supportive of the Early Bronco, including more Mass buys.

He appreciated all of our previous business and looks forward to support us in the future.
