UPS dropped off a big brown cardboard box which happened to contain my Fuel tank! I have been waiting for this tank to show up, seeing how it is the last piece I need for my EFI conversion. This is the in-tank pump setup. I can't wait to start this install! I was kinda hoping for a free BC Broncos T-shirt... ;D Maybe next time. I will post the progress, on the install, in this thread.

yet to be determined
The biggest problem I had with mine was the pump has a 5/16" outlet and the pickup for the tank is 3/8", so i had too run a hose up to one of the 5/16" vent lines. Given more time I would have shortened the pick up and reduced it to 5/16" with a hardline.

I will look at how the pump is installed on Wednesday. I got the tank with the pump already installed (mustang pump), so I shouldn't have to do anything, as far as connections and such. I will take some pics and post them tomorrow.

Here are some pics of the fuel pump mounting in the tank and the access plate that holds the fuel sender and the connections for both the fuel sender and the fuel pump.

The EFI tank is 23 gallons because the access cover is recessed into the body of the tank. There might be some other differences too, but seeing how this is the first BC Broncos tank I have ever seen in my life, I couldn't tell what they are.

The seal looks like it is similar to the thicker gasket material used in carburetor rebuild kits, but a little more dense. What is neat is that the screws that secure the access plate have little O-rings, just like the ones on fuel injectors, but smaller. That's high grade hardware right there.

The 5/16 hose will fit. It is tight but you need tight anyway.

The screws are sealing screws. Every tank I have ever sold uses them. Some are not as cute as others. The tanks are 23 gal.

Chuck:
What are the ohm readings for empty and full on the fuel sending unit on your tanks?

I can't remember what kind I had. If I have any leaks, I'll be calling you :).

Here is a pic of the tank installed. I am very impressed as to how well it fits. It tucks up nicely to the body (I have it about 1/4 inch away from the tub floor. I haven't been able to run the fuel pump, as I haven't finished up my EFI install, but I should have it up and running this week.
