BC Broncos EFI Cable install Explorer swap

Has anyone installed the BC Broncos throttle cable on the EFI Explorer swap
The black lever they gave me doesn’t have the hole in it that their instructions show , I know I need to drill a hole in the throttle body linkage per their instructions
So assuming I need to drill the hole that supposed to be there , how crucial is it for placement?
I can eye ball the placement where I need to drill holes on both pieces
Is this sufficient?

Thank you

In your 6th picture where the plate is sitting on top of the throttle body, it looks like you have it oriented wrong when compared to the instruction sheet.

Your right , but if you look at the photo of it next to the diagram you can see it’s pictured the same way & is missing a hole in the black lever

I would just locate the plate over the throttle pin like the instructions say and just pop a 1/4 hole through the plate and the throttle lever.
