The link below shows the style of Saginaw reservoir to use with this Saginaw pump bracket. It kicks off to the side and has a little more volume. This particular one also has a second return port for hydroboost.

Does anyone know a good source (or just a part number) for this Sagniaw reservoir? Thanks

The 70's Lincolns have a large canister dual return Saginaw p.s. pump reservoir. It was to accommodate their hydroboost brakes.

Very cool stuff TheBroncoGuy! I will be using your bracket. I still need to figure out a bracket with the smallest AC pump mounted as low as possible.

Thanks for this, do you know of any aftermarket vendors that have something similar? I've been looking at the local salvage yards but the yards near me don't have many older vehicles. Even stuff from the 90's is getting hard to find.

Wild Horses has a number of Saginaw pumps that would work well in the bracket.

See link above to a Saginaw pump from WH with the right reservoir.

Thanks for the link, if I needed the pump and the reservoir this would be perfect. My problem is I just want the reservoir. I already have a good pump (AGR P-pump) but I can't find anyone that has the exact reservoir that I need.

AGR has some on their site but the images don't show if it's the style I need and when I call and ask if it's like the older Lincoln reservoirs, they weren't sure.

I have the 70's Lincoln pump. It has dual returns but the fill tube is not offset to the driver side, so it does not work with that bracket.

I got the offset housing from an early 2000's GM pickup at the junk yard. Gas engines have single return but diesels have dual returns.

I did a little searching and came up with GM part numbers 19207053 and 19207054. In some images, it appeared that the ...053 was a single return and the ...054 was a dual return but I couldn't confirm it. carid.com and gmpartsgiant.com seemed to have them but the lowest cost I saw was $53.

I'm glad I'm not totally crazy because every image I found of Lincoln housings were exactly as you described and I thought I was looking at them wrong somehow.
Thanks Gary.

This is awesome. Thanks for taking the time.

Just finishing my hydroboost swap on the 72 with the Lincoln dual return pump. Saw this thread and was thinking of going this route instead of the tyranny cooler style. Any reason not to? Also I see 2 versions on the bc site one for hydro and one for without. My guess was order the hydroboost one and run both the ps box and hydroboost return lines to the filter then one return line to the pump. Then cap off any extra ports. Is that correct?

The return from the hydroboost is low volume and does not pick up much heat from the hydroboost.
You can run the return from the hydroboost directly back to the pump reservoir, it really does not need to be run through the cooler.

That's how was gonna do it with the tranny style oil cooler. Getting close. The 72 has been down a while.
