Who is running Explorer front dress with BC Broncos Saginaw pump bracket with BC Broncos AC??

What Serp belt are you using? I have what I thought was correct " Goodyear 4060940. It appears to me that it is maybe 1-2 inches short, there is no way I can install idler pulley at the intended location and have the belt run under it.

I guess I could do the old string thing, but if someone has a part number it would sure be nice :)

Thanks,

Lon

Jennifer at BC Broncos informed me the proper belt should be 506970 Dayco 6 rib belt. Thanks Jennifer ;)

So you don't run the idler if you run the compressor?

yes, you still run the idler, the belt is a little longer to accommodate the stock pulley in the location provided for on the mount.

I use a string with the tensioner maxed out and measure the string. Then buy 3 belts near that length. Pick the best one and return the others.

This is common practice for me. I hate extra trips to parts store.
