I am about two years into my 5.0 conversion, which I installed both Lokar throttle/kickdown cables. Easy to install with no problems what so ever. With that being said, a sticking throttle has appeared lately. Sticks on take off, and when I let off pedal while coasting up to stop light. Have chased the problem for about two months. No binding, pedal is free, gets a little better when I lube cable. I read online somewhere that the stainless cable cuts through the cable liner and causes this problem. I wonder if BC has this problem?

Just talked to Mike at Lokar Tech, said Cables have lifetime warranty. They shouldnt wear through liner. Said he would do what it took to to help!
WOW! Something to consider on your purchase.

Yes it does. I've been running the BC cable for about six years and when I try to lightly hit the throttle, it won't go anywhere. Have to mash it down and get too much gas. Looking underneath the dash, I can see the cable has started to saw through the fitting at the firewall, which does not make for a very responsive throttle.

I use carb return springs ( find in the help section ) on the throttle body on EFI setup's, BC provides a spring on the cable but it does nothing but rust.
