BCB 9 pack springs and Bilstein 7100 valving?

Now that BC Broncos sells a 9 pack leaf spring, which is the proper valving when using Bilstein 7100 shocks in the rear? Is it 255/70 given the slightly more stiff leaf pack, or is it the 278/75 that most seem to run using the previous softer 11 leaf pack springs?

My application will include running a hardtop almost all of the time. I will be pulling the trigger asap.

I appreciate all feedback and suggestions and thank you in advance.;D

no that is from anchor man movie.

anyway, well i have the 11 pack and i run the 278/75 in th erear and it is just right i did not know that the 9 pack was softer so i am guessing that you might want a lil more rebound on the rear end and i am fairly sure most are running the 255/70.

i just recently saw and add for the new bilstien 5160 they are alot like the 7100 but fit the stock locations, this is for the front tho just a heads up if you are going that route. this way you dont have to put in the f250 mounts.

i hope this helped.

I have been on hear seven years, and it is not so often that I read a post where I have absolutely no idea about what is being asked.

After a crappy night's sleep from being dazed and confused searching for answers for my EB project.....I now understand the reference BossHoff.;D

Also, 1970Mule Thank you for pointing that out.

Perhaps, I didn't explain myself well. The BCB 9 leaf springs are a little stiffer than the more common 11 pack according to the BCB website. Therefore, I was wondering if the Bilstein 7100 255/70 would be the optimal choice given my application of running a hardtop? Or, do I go with the 278/75?

Anyone out there with the new BCB 9 pack leaf springs and Bilstein 7100s?

Thank You Guys!

i've got an 11 pack and i'm running the 5125 series with 255/70 valving, feels real good to me. same valving should be right with the BC 9 pack, i've heard they're a bit stiffer.

Thank You Stallion. Do you run a hardtop?

Any others that would like to chime in? How about those Vendors selling Bilsteins?

Thanks Again!
