BCB header and exhaust final exit?

I'm about to try to install the BCB headers and exhaust kit. I'm no welder, so it'll be a clamped system (it's a street ride, so . . .). My current stock kit includes a welded tail pipe turned out behind the back wheel. I'd like to keep that set up and look with the 3 inch exit of the magnaflow. A tail pipe didn't come in the BCB kit. So, my question -- if I'm not a pipe cutter/bender/welder, how can I accomplish the exit behind the passenger wheel? Can I just buy that part?

Thanks for your help.

Take it to an exhaust shop after you get it installed and they can bend up a tailpipe for you.

Most guys say the 3" single pipe has a loud drone. You might want to consider a 2.5" tailpipe.

I had my BCB header and 2-1 exhaust finished at a local muffler shop. I did have a noticeable drone. When I installed my 2" body lift the 3" exhaust pipe hung low. So I mimicked the down ward exhaust tip that was on BCB white bronco that they built. The down turn is just past the axle and angled away from the BCB tank. It is much better now. Just my opinion.

Thanks for all the replies. I guess I was initially thinking I couldn't drive it without the tailpipe because it'd be too loud, but it's only one trip and it likely won't be THAT different just without the tailpipe.

Good tips about the exit treatment, also. I was just thinking a 3" tailpipe because the magnaflow has a 3" exit. I don't want the drone or the look of a huge sewer pipe coming out of the ride. I am going to route it behind the passenger side wheel. Does turn down versus straight out, etc., really make that much difference? Which is louder or quieter. I don't want too quiet, but I don't think I run that risk with this setup anyway.

Thanks again.

just installed the BC Broncos headers and exhaust. I'm no mechanic at all and I managed it pretty well. Headers fit in from the top. I was confused about the pipes of the exhaust system, though. Finally decided that the bigger elbow (3" and near 90 degrees) must be post-muffler. My pipes lined up for the muffler without it. Drivers side was two tubes from the headers to the muffler and passenger side was one tube from header to muffler.

I still need to get to the muffler shop for the tailpipe. Right now, it's dumping down through the 3" pipe just after the muffler. Sounds a little poopy and has a pretty bad drone. I assume the 2.5" the tail pipe length (enough to get it to exit behind the rear wheel) and the turn out rather than down will make a big difference.

The kit took almost 7 weeks to get here, but very pleased with the build quality, fit, and ease of installation.

Throw a better muffler on there and get rid of that noise! Im sure there kit is nice but i have heard alot of guys say its WAY to loud! Not sure why they dont offer 2 or 3 different muffler choices? Not everybody wants there bronco to sound like its owned by some 17 year old redneck!%)

I did the same set up a year ago. Chucks pre bent system installed easy. Only thing different was i went with a diffdrent muffler. I went with the biggest magnaflo muffler they offered. I wanted it to be as quiet as possible since i do hunt and like hearing my radio. I got a 2 in 2 out muffler with 2.5 inch inlets outlets. I got two 90 degree bends from napa and they are pointed down just pass the rear axle on passenger side. Its only temporary till i make my rear bumper that hopefully will integrate the exhaust pipes.
