BCB Radius Arms and C Bushings

Hello everybody. I recently picked up a pair of used BCB stock length radius arms and I had a couple of questions for any users out there.

Are y’all using stock C bushings and correcting caster with the arm adjustment? Or getting the corrective C bushing (in my case it’d be 7*) and then fine tuning with the arm adjustment? I figure I might as well replace the bushings while I’d down there, and wanted to get some opinions.

Second question: does anyone have a set of installation instructions they could scan and email?

Thanks in advance for any advice and assistance, I really appreciate it.

Get the bushings for your lift and fine tune. I can't remember the degree bushings I have but it's whatever came with WH 3 /2 inch lift. Mine was so close when I had the front end checked that I didn't mess with it.

Ditto. there is not enough adjustment in the arms to start that far off. get the right ones and fine tune

There is 15* of adjustment and I would start with the 4* bushings for a 3.5" lift so you have room to adjust either way but the range should be enough that you can get the caster in specs with any C bushing. They will also correct bronco lean.

There is nothing like having these arms!!! Easy to set the alingment. They really free up the front end. I have had mine about 5 years my bronco steers perfect and is very predictable at any speed. I was able to get rid of the lean also. I have a 5.5 inch lift with 35in MTR's. They are by far the best upgrade I have made!!!!!!! I drive about about 160 miles a week.

One of the best upgrades I have made. I run 7* bushings with a 5.5 inch lift. I set caster as far back as I could before driveline angle was too nasty. I have about 5* of caster and truck drives great.

Thanks myklstrng, but I couldn't find anything on the BCB site prior to my original post. Chuck told me he wouldn't publish instructions until he starts selling the arms again. That's why I was hoping someone in the community had the instructions.

No prob, bummer that didn't help. Didn't know the arms weren't available. Are they an older design? Is chuck still selling a newer version?

Goodluck!

I don't remember having any instructions when I installed mine, it's pretty straight forward, other than the adjustment part not much different than installing a stock arm. I had problems with the drivers side getting loose where it connects to the mount on the frame, it would back off just enough to where you could feel slack if you shook it with your hand. After red loctite and long bar tightening has been fine. I've had them on there since 2006.
