Ever notice in a parking lot when somebody needs jumper cables, tools or fluids they go to the guy in the old truck first. May not be as common in rural areas where people are more resourceful but I constantly get asked here in so cal.

If you drive a new car or truck you may or may not know anything about cars and trucks.
Until the last few years when vintage iron has become fashionable if you had an older car or truck you probably knew what was what about them and the public still has that perception.

I've always carried a few tools and a set of jumper cables, even with a new car.
I guess it goes back to when I was a kid in college. My dad told me to always carry jumper cables. Not for yourself. It gives you the opportunity to meet girls. Girls are always leaving their headlights on.;)
