In everyone's experience, who has the best fitting replacement quarter panels and tailight extension panels? Auto Crafters or Jeff's BG? TIA. I have been reading alot of posts on this subject and it seems that nobody makes a great one. I guess I am just looking for the best out there that is available right now. Seems Jeffs and Duff's has the best.- Mike

Dr.B, I'd call and ask where their panels were made.
If they say "China" then I would hang up. Mine were made in Taiwan, and the fit sucked. Problem is, I think they are all made in China (or Taiwan), so it would take an expert body man (lucky for you, you are one) to get them to fit perfect.

Not to rub salt in anyone's wound, but about 15 years ago I bought a collection of parts from a man up in WV near Hagerstown. He had a pair of NOS rear quarters that had light surface rust on them from sitting in a barn. I told him I didn't want them (he wanted $10 apiece for them), but since I bought everything else he had, he threw them in anyway. Still had the Ford parts # stickers on them.

Being a stupid 20-something, I turned around and sold them to the first person I met looking for a set of them. I got $50 for the pair............. man what a dweeb.

I Am About To Instal A Quarter Panel That I Got From Jeff's, Haven't Even Stuck It Up To The Bronco To See How It Fits. I Have To Replace The Upper Quarter As Well, Stuck It Up To It And It Seems To Fit Alright, Lower Quarter Has Black Primer Where Upper Does Not. Probably Will Do This Next Week After I Get Back From Howiepaloosa.

I have one of the Taiwanese made peices. I have not completed the fit yet but it does seem to be pretty close. I was unaware that someone was stamping these from the original dies. I have to say that it is a decent gauge steel that it was stamped from.
