Love my Yokohama Geolander AT's. Great on road and off. Never got stuck. I have cut one though off road.

Bfg all terrain tires go up to 33x10.50 quiet won't throw mud but do well in sand no noise. I have ran mtzs ,good year authority (Wal-Mart) only mud tire 34x10.50 swamper ltbs, bad idea for the road . cut fenders then stuck with 35x12.50 Dunlop mud rovers. Pull good ride smooth and I can hear the radio with the top off . it's all opinion my friend .

You can't go wrong with BFGs. I've had multiple sets of both the A/T and M/T but M/Ts will be going on my '66 once I'm ready for tires.
