I need a lower crank 2 groove pulley. Where would you suggest I look for one? Local Junkyard? Are there any differences between pulleys for a 302 on other vehicles? THanks.

As stated, lot's of choices. Just keep an eye on the number of bolts to the balancer. Some are three and some are four, and sometimes you don't notice till you get home.

how soon you need it? i'm pulling a set off mine and installing a set of tom's aluminum pulleys. i also have one on the engine i just picked up today but i have to see if he wants to sell it.

just talked to him, he said he'd take $25.00 plus shipping.

I'd be careful before giving away a set of pulleys. Aluminum can make a good set up belt go fast. If they are underdrive pulleys you may want to reconsider. I'll let the experts speak out on this; but from what I'm told they are not very effective for our off-road rigs.

just a thought.

this weekend, as long as i get the new ones from tom's this week. do you need both or just the crank? because i can take the crank pulley off this other engine as soon as i take a picture of it.

i called tom's before they closed, and they said they're CNC machined pulleys. they said nobody has had any complaints, and i installed a set on a girls bronco last year. i'll see her friday and i'm going to have a look at them and see how they're holding up. i know they fit very well.
