Well, I made the drive from hell (if hell is 700 miles of snow and ice) in one piece and got my new racer home safely. We finally got some decent weather, so I rolled it out of the barn and cleaned it up a little. We have a work day tomorrow, with the Mexican 500 in our sights as our first race. Since it's signed by Parnelli, anything short of the finish line will be a huge failure!

Glad to see it went to a "good home"- we had to wipe the corners of our mouths when it was on ebay. Where were you when the whole trailer and half the bronco were "iced over"?
Congrats :)

Thanks for all the encouragement, fellas! Even my wife is jazzed about this one! ;D The trip from Denver to Dallas is normally 12 hrs, but we managed to squeeze it into 22 hours! :-[ I've driven on snow/ice before, but never 700 miles straight! We won't make the Mex 1000 in May, but we WILL be at the Mex 500 in Sept/Oct and we plan to run both in 2015 and beyond. Even though it's just a replica, we really want to honor the history and tradition it represents. We spent about 6 hrs on it yesterday, just pulling things apart so we can get to know her. You know the drill -- you buy a perfectly good Bronco, then you start tearing it apart! ;D;D I'll keep you guys posted on what we are doing to it. I also started a little FB page if you are into that sort of thing; https://www.facebook.com/vintagebroncoracing
