For the past 2 years I have been Super busy with my 50hr per week real job, and my 40hr per week bronco jobs;D Well to make a long story short, this don't leave me much time to work on my own stuff anymore:-[ In September of last year I traveled with Tim H out to Big Sky Broncos to drop off his 66 roadster for restoration. I have known Steve for many years VIA e-mails and fourms. I have always admired Steves work and skills, so when Tim asked me to go with him I did not pass up the chance to meet Steve and spend 6 days on the road with a great friend. About 1/2 way into Tims restoration, I started thinking about the 66 I started a year ago and just did not have time to finish anytime in the near future. I sent Steve some pics of my roadster and details of what I had done to date. Basically a lot of new metal and the chassis. It just happen that Steve had a opening for this, Tim was driving back out to pick his up and I had a great chance to have one of the only guys I would trust to work on my bronco finish it up for me. So it now in the very talanted hand of Steve getting finished up. Needless to say, I am super excited about it;D A Big thanks to Steve and Tim for making this all happen. Now I will let some pictures do some talking:cool:

Here is what I did before it went out to Steve

Then Re-assembled for the trip to Big Sky

Here is Steves magic finishing it up.

That is a nice color. After following Steve's build on the other roadster, I'm sure this is going to be another one to drool over.

Looks great Tom! Great color too. I look forward to seeing more pictures of the Roadster's restoration.

Steve's place is becoming the premier place for '66 Roadster resurrections. It's nice to see that so many share the compassion for a Factory stock '66 Roadster Bronco.

Tom, this thread is making me feel a bit guilty! ;D

Honestly, I don't know how you guys pump out this work after you've punched out. We've restored lots of old theatre marquee signs so I can appreciate how much time that goes into this work. From my perspective, its pretty incredible.

Can't wait to see this one done...just not before mine!!

Terry told me about this thread when I was at his house in CA this morning. Beautiful!! Looks like another great roadster like Tim's is in the works. Looking forward to all the updates.

Terry, Yes it had a Koenig and a plow on it, Koenig will go back on, but not the plow;D It also had something mounted in the bed that had some big power cables going to it, there is a bracket on the frame that supported whatever was there. I have no Idea what it was but it was not a hack job on the install. Any Ideas? This bronco is a little different than the norm for the
66's, It was black on the underside, never red primer, not even a hint of it. It was just black then bare steel so thats how its going back.

Interesting. Please post a picture of the bracket mounted to the frame. Sounds like maybe some sort of electric winch.
