114 dollars!! WHAT!!!

Mine cost me nothing as I looted a minivan for them
took me an afternoon to install them work fine and the locks work.
Get the fancy ones off a chrysler town and country minivan if you want chrome ones. cost you less and look just as good.

I would send some pictures but for some reason I cant post pictures
Probably have to rebribe JON. Send me an Email I will send pictures or some one can post them for me.

i agree with justino, if they are that big of a problem i would shave them that way i would only have to fill the original mounting holes rather than cutting a big hole for the lokars but i like the lokars and they would look great on my 48 f-100

just reformed the rod. the handles basically word the same way. Not hard to do. took me about 3 hours to do both. 2 hours for the first 20 minutes for the second and 30 minutes for the refreshment. Really not difficult takes longer to take the door panel off than connect the handles.

I'll give you points for ingenuity and good old problem solving! I dunno though, it doesn't seem right to me to put Chevy Astro handles on such a classic :'( I would probably be more ok with them if they were chrome... ;D

What do you guys think of these things? I'm trying to find a solution to the extruding bronco door handles since I always seem to scrape them up against obstacles plus these things just look sweet.

Garrett,
What part number is that? The link doesn't seem to be working for me. It just takes me to the JEGs main page.

I looked up the Lokar door handles and came up with the interior door handles. I'm sure they would work on the exterior as well. I would be hesitant to use an oval shaped accessory on a Bronco. The Bronco has so many squared off lines on the body they mught be out of place. But on the other hand I have considered using old Corvette Sting Ray door handles. The kind that you push down to open the door.

Nope the handles are exterior handles.
Hate to argue with the guy who said they are Astro handles, gotta say no they are Do**e Minivan door handles mid 80's I believe.
Would of used the ones off a Windstar If I could of found one.
Link up was easy Rekeying was the trick but the locksmith laughed and did them in about 10 minutes. Cost me a box of doughnuts which I got some of.
Dont shy away from the mod, it works real well and looks good.
Someone said something about interior latchs!! HHHMMMM have to look into that, may be fun to have modern latches in the beast.

Very clever, nice job. If you happen to have the interior panel off sometime, please snap a pic of the inside of the door.
