That color seems to be getting very popular I can see why, it looks great!

I kept the factory color, the main reason was I wanted the color code on the vin plate to be accurate. Plus I liked the color. Thanks for the positive responses

Yes, blocking and sanding sucks. Big time. That's all.

I agree I just finished replacing the tail light, rear quarter and rocker panels welding up holes, applying and sanding body filler. Now I'm trying to decide to strip down to bare metal or not.

Looks nice!! Blocking does suck.....thats why I don't do it!!

I like the color......reminds me of my 79 I had back in college. I painted it myself and the color was awesome....turned out looking almost like a new, shiny, penny.

This color is "hot Ginger poly" but a couple years later they called it "copper". Genius.

Love that color myself....I repainted mine back to original as well but I skipped out on full blocking it 'cuz I was planning to have desert pin striping anyway. When I re-do it again I'll do it right.
