Blue Grille Letters on 1st Generation Broncos?

New to the forum and am curious about whether the Blue Ford Grill letters were on the first generation Broncos - thanks for any info on this !

No, I don't believe so. Stock was painted black on Wimbledon White grilles and red inserts on chrome letters attached to Argent or Black Special Decor grilles.

The attached raised letters on Sports were red, the FORD that were just stamped/raised in the grills were painted black. No blue ever.

I cannot speak to what they were from the factory but really like how the blue letters look on my 74

I'd post up a picture but cannot seem to figure out how to do it anymore.

Mine are DIY, cleaned up the old letters, used some of the leftover automotive paint and some sort of resin from Hobby Lobby to create the depth.
