I installed a two inch body lift (among lots of other things), and I'm wondering if I will need to cut and lengthen the lingage to the tranny. I do not want to put the shifter on the floor. Good theft protection (why do you have a clutch with an automatic?!!!) and because its different. I think I may have enough in the linkage already, but I figured you guys have come up on this. Thanks!

We put a 2' lift on a '74 manual tranny Bronco and used the linkage adapter to lenghthen it.... from Duffs. Worked great.
I would probably use the adapter piece or lenghthen my rod so that there isn't any pull or binding on the linkage. I just put a 2"body lift on my'74 Automatic and definately had to use an adapte rthat added about 2" to my linkage. Got it from Duff also.

The linkage for the extention is listed for the c-4. Is it just a threaded rod???? Or does it bolt right up to the three speed? Thanks man.
