body lift question

Hi Guys. I Have a question about choosing a body lift. I'm getting ready to install a 2.5" suspension kit and I figure its a good time to change out the spacers. My goal is to keep my bronco uncut while trying to get good clearance for big tires. maybe 33" - 35" . Would a 2" body lift plus a 2.5" suspension give me enough clearance to put 33" tires on without cutting fenders? are there any limitations to going 2" oppose to 1 " Does anyone have a picture of 2" body lift with a 2.5" suspension ? fyi I'm going for strictly aesthetics not planning on off roading . Thanks in advance

Don't have the pics for you, but I'm sure others will. As well as there being plenty of discussions about this with pics too that you can find after browsing a bit.

The 1" is the most popular body lift these days it seems like. At least in part because you don't usually need more lift to fit the tire sizes you're talking about. At least not for the 33's maybe, but the 35's might be tighter.

When talking about uncut fenders and tire size however, it's all (ok, only about 90%) about the width and wheel offset.
Thinking about it, I'm not sure that the additional inch of lift (by using a 2" body lift instead of a 1") will get you enough clearance for 35's without some extra thinking and fiddling around with things.

You'll also read hereabouts about members moving their rear axles back 1-2 inches for more clearance. That leading edge of the rear wheel opening is the one that bites you every time.

Some of the other reasons for using the least amount of body lift you can are, shifter clearances, radiator shroud modifications are more involved, bumper gaps are larger and way more unsightly, etc.
All the usual suspects apply.

I'm sure others will pop in with their fitment stories (some horror stories, some not so much) and you'll be able to make a more informed decision.

Good luck!

x2 what Paul said. If you're going LUBR, definitely go only 1" up. Bumper clearances just don't look good.
