Hello All,
I have a question about body removal. If i remove all electrical connections to the engine and electrical grounds do I have to take the dash out to pull body off the frame?

Assuming you also disconnect throttle, break, clutch, e-brake, everything else the dash connects to is electrical or cables to the heater box that would come with the body.

Not that many grounds, and those would be to the body anyway. So most can come up with the body, other than the main battery ground to the engine.

Rear light and fuel sender wiring, backup lamp wiring, neutral safety if you have a auto trans swapped in, fuel tank filler on the rear tank (front tank comes up with the body other than the fuel line itself), transfer case shift lever, manual trans linkage from the steering column, steering shaft-to-box interface, along with the other items kiteoregon mentioned, and you should be in pretty good shape.
As always, keep an eye open for any PO mods that might have been added over the last 50 years, and have fun getting the body mounts off!
Once you have the bolts out and the body up though, you're practically golden!
