Body work in Knoxville, Tn

I know a few forum members are from the Knoxville area. Any suggestions for some body work in the area? I took my doors off this past summer. Successfully broke the heads off two bolts. Need to get the bolts drilled (I ate up several drill bits trying). Also the backing plate for the lower hinge is loose. The spot weld has failed. Welding is above my pay scale.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Driving my bronco is always cold in the winter, but no doors is getting ridiculous.

Thanks

Um...... the backing plates are supposted to be loose until you tighten the bolts...... thats how you align the doors.

Thanks for the help. My fault on the backing plates. First time the doors have come off.

So apparently I don't need anything welded (thanks for the offer though). What about the bolts? Its a small job, but I destroyed all my bits trying.

Weld nuts to the broken bolt.
If that does not work you will need to cut either behind the door post or the kick panel to remove the plates to make them easier to work on or replace them. I have done it both ways and after removing one plate I still could not get the broken bolt out so I ended up replacing it.

Off topic......but, I think I have seen your bronco on campus. Do you attend UT? I have the green half-cab, if you have seen it.
