The Raptor drinks the gas.

@ xfalcon, this one is REALLY nice. I don't think I could bring myself to cut this one. Every body panel on it is original (that I can see). I can't believe how nice the inside is. I also researched the NV4500 transmission today. WOW! He just installed it 12k ago. Bought the whole conversion kit from Tom's bronco. Might be sticking with that one. This is what I have in mind right now:

(of course everything is subject to change...)

Got a little more wax on it today. Couldn't be happier with how it is turning out. A little before and after.

Man, it's looking great! I've used a Meguiers #2 fine cut cleaner, #7 Polish, and finally a carnuba wax. All by hand and it turns out great.

Thanks Andrew and Mike for the great tips. It will eventually be repainted but its nice to get it looking good with its current paint.

I just found the original window sticker/options list as well as the original owners service manual, owner card and original registration card! The registration looks like it lists this as a 1971, not a 1970? I wish there were prices on the window sticker!

xfalcon, I should have my other bronco back in the next month (fingers crossed!). Just checked the title, this is a '71, not a '70.

You're right, it already looks like a completely different rig with just the wax and losing the big white bumpers. Looks great.

Bumpers sold right away. The PO thought it was a D30 front axle. I think it is as well. If not, bonus! I'll have to look when I get home today. If so, I'm going to switch it to a 44.
