It was painted at my cousin's shop, McComas Auto Body in Hemet. He does nice work and has a lot of Bronco experience. He's currently re-painting the Pikes' Stroppe racer. That one should be back in front of the Denny's in Baker soon, with some shiney new paint.

So thats where it is! I remember Bowsher mentioned that it wasnt there last time he went through.

As the others have said that is an awesome build, very clean, top notch!

when (wild guess) do you think that the prototype front end will be on the market? and what size tubing you using on it? think it could stand up to like a mild roll or tip over?

We have no time frame for it yet. We typically build them out of 1" .120 wall HREW. They're not designed as rollover protection, although they should fare better than the stock sheetmetal components.

Since they're all custom-built, it won't be cheap. If you're still interested, PM me the particulars and I'll ballpark it for you.

Chris was working on the dash wiring today so I grabbed a few shots. This is one of our dash overlays (be we only retain the end pieces from the original dash). Autometer Pro-Comp gauges, including the GPS speedometer. K4 toggle switches. The harness is a Centech. We started this project way back before I started selling the T-3 harness, so we already had the Centech for it. Otherwise this project would have been a great candidate for the T-3.

I added a page for this rig on the Projects Page on our website. Check it out for more photos and a full build sheet. We're not done with this one yet so that page will be updated periodically. I'll throw some more photos in this thread too whenever there's something new to show.

For those of you who haven't seen it, check out our Projects Page sometime when you've got a little time to kill. Lots of killer rigs and great mods on there.

Just a small update here. Work continues on the wiring and plumbing.

dscn7208.jpg

All of the wiring will be wrapped in loom once it is completed.

dscn7211.jpg

The fuel system is plumbed. All Aeromotive stuff--billet rails, adjustable fuel pressure regulator, billet inline filter. All of the hoses, hose ends and fittings are Earl's.

These bad boys are going on the front and rear D60's. We make our own Extreme Duty Diff Covers for the Dana 44, but for the 60's on this rig we got them from Dan at RuffStuff Specialties. They'll be powdercoated prior to installation ;D

dscn7216.jpg

That's it for now, more to come shortly.

Resurrecting an old thread. John out at WCB called and asked me to come take some new photos of this Bronco, it had been completed a few months ago and was already back for some more mods. I gotta say they really went nuts on this thing. Check this out:

As it stands now.

EVERYthing on this rig is powdercoated, the heavy duty D60 diff covers, Stonecrusher tie rods, coils, etc.

We put it up on the lift for a look at the undercarriage. West Coast arms, 700R4 trans, Atlas, custom crossmembers, custom skid plate. Protective screen for the HyperCool trans cooler at the bottom of the photo (passenger side) and for the 12V onboard air system at the top of the photo (driver side) next to the air tank. All powdercoated Silver Bullet.

A closer look at the OBA:

A closer look at the trans cooler protection, with one of the cage tie-ins in the foreground:

Here's a nice shot of the T-case skid. Note how it ties into the WCB radius arm brackets:

The WCB mongo tubular traction bar uses the same massive heims and hardware as the WCB radius arms:

I just put these and a ton of other new photos on the Project Page for this Bronco. Check it out if you'd like to see more.

Next post I'll go under the hood. Lots of cool stuff to see there.

This thing is just sick under the hood. Same stroked and poked Windsor from the previous photos, just everything is now buttoned up.

I think this intake tube is made out of those Spectre pieces someone was asking about here on the site a few days ago. It actually looks pretty killer for a parts-store item.

Hydroboost, Aeromotive adjustable fuel pressure regulator and TFI coil mounted to the shock hoop crossover brace:

Pretty clean wiring with the T3 chassis harness and Painless EFI harness

Again, more photos of this awesome Bronco on the WCB Projects Page.

nice bronco and sharp color.

Question on the radius arms, the C's behind the axle stock that is cut off or newly made from formed steel?
