Restoring my 69 looking for pics of how you guys braced the body before removing it. I'll be cutting the floor boards out to replace them so want to brace the body properly before removing it.

if youre removing the tailgate that's another area and under the cowel to the floor if your going to be doing any kick panel replacement work....measure measure and write it down before you dismantle anything, and brace it!
This is how I did mine. Got my idea from Englewood's thread. You can see his pics on the seat.
I lifted the body with the straps you can see in the pic. Lifted the back slightly with an engine hoist through the rear body mounts. Slid the frame out on Harbor Freight dolley's.
I would suggest doing as much of the major metal replacement on the frame if you can. It will help keep things square. Bracing the doors like 5001craig did is a good thing but if your rockers are firm, you can do floor pans with out much bracing.
