Brake issue resolved

Brake pedal in my 66 was harder to push and harder to stop so I decided to trying bleeding them. I cracked the right rear and no fluid, same with the left side, no fluid running out. First place I thought was giving me trouble was the rubber brake hose. It was 90% blocked and I had virtually no rear brakes. I replaced and all is well and they work great.

This is the third old vehicle that I've had this happen to and is something that is often overlooked when going through the brake system. Pretty sure it was the original one on there although it had a new master, brake lines and shoes on it before I bought it.

Thanks for sharing. If I'm doing a brake job on a vehicle and any rubber hose is over 7 years old, or of unknown age, it gets replaced.
