I recently did a disk conversion got it from wild horses,
Install went good. But now when I back up I have a clunking at my feet and I can hear it.. It tracks straight going down the road and stops even. I can't think of anything to make the noise. All new u joints brakes are all tight end down no loose bolts.
Have any of you herd any one that has this trouble after brake install..
Any help is appreciated
Thank you,
Mike

Hi, my guess is to check how the calipers fit in the mounts. They need to slide, so most of us use grease on the slides, but if the caliper rocks up and down you might hear a clunk. What it may be doing is being pushed up when you go forward, and dragged down when you brake in reverse. Try to simulate that with a pry bar. Good luck
