They also added a section of my email to the article request section. I guess they couldn't figure out that I was offering to to do the article. I guess I'll do it since I requested it...;D

I will be Blasting the metal components today and will clean up everything in order to finish everything this weekend! Can I get a new heater core and a heater seal kit at a local auto parts store? If so, what shoudl I ask for? Any part numbers? Thanks not to hijack my own thread but I was just wondering since you mentioned it.;D

The advertising may have been somewhat confusing as the magazine didn't go to 6 issues/year until 2004. Even that has been a struggle with deadlines etc. For those that don't know, it is an immense amount of work but I think most will agree that it is getting better with each issue as we learn a few things.

hey I just checked the bronco driver web page and it does say 4 issues/1 year......so maybe its my mistake. My subscription could be expired....

there is no doubt 74bronc that the mag is great, and somehow I just wished it could be a monthly issue instead of bi monthly, and I'm sure you guys are working on that! :):):)....just had to vent, dont pay me much attention. Just frustrating when everyone else gets their new mag, and I'm sitting crying n the corner still waiting on mine :(

and BRONCO DRIVER........if your listening, I would be glad to pay double for my subscription for a monthly ISSUE! :)

Still waiting:(
I'm like the little kid in the movie Christmas Story waiting for my secret decoder ring! I got my Road and Track yesterday and just left it in the pile of junk mail.

If you buy anything from 4Wheel Parts Wholesalers, you get on their mailing list. I haven't bought anything from them in 18 Months, but I still get their Mag. It's about 15% articles the other 85% is all advertising. My favorite section is articles about "Old Iron". ;)

Good Woman

Good news, I received my BD today but the bad news is that I am stuck at the firehouse for 24hrs. This is were the wife comes in. She let me know that my BD arrived and offered to being it up to work. Not to mention that fact that she is 7 months pregnant, she's the best. 69sport

Brutis72eb, You should be able to get the heater core at any aftermarket place, ie, o'reilly's, checker, kragen, Shucks, autozone, and advanced auto.

The reseal kit, you'll probably have to get from a Bronco House.
I don't have any of the numbers now, but the heater core number should be the same as jeff's. Hope this helps.

snake (at work and not logged in)....lol

Thanks snake! Will look into it. Cleaned up all the metal and plastic stuff today. Nicely painted and if I can get everything (seal kit and heater core) I will go ahead and assemble tommorrow. Question: what are the chances that I need a new heater motor? When I tore down the whole bronco the heater didnt work but I think it was wiring so I dont know if the motor worked at all. Do these go out fairly quickly and if I go ahead and install the one I have now would all I have to do is take out the four bolts and replace and not have to pull the whole heater unit out or will I have to??? Thanks;D
