Hey All, I am new to this site but not to being a Bronco fanatic. I rode in one of my buddies 1973 Bronco while in high school (in 1983) and said that if I ever could afford one I would get one. Well, now I have two. The 1973 green Bronco was my first project that I completed about 10 years ago. I bought this from a mechanic in 2006. It had been sitting in storage for 20 years. He and I redid the whole vehicle and I had it painted from pale yellow and white to green. We did not keep it stock but it's a ball to drive. My 8 year old son helped the whole way. I bought the 1973 brown Bronco about 18 months ago. It had been in the desert in Hemet, CA most of its life. All that it needed was tires and a new interior, which was sun damaged and tired. I was able to get the original hounds tooth from Ford and we changed the vinyl from brown to white. It has 48k miles on it. Here are a few pictures.

I have read the posts on this site for years and stand in awe in how much all of you know about these vehicles. It's really helped me along the way. If I messed up the picture posts, I will try and fix them.

Thanks everyone. I just love driving these but, sprdv1, you are 100 percent correct that I am not gonna be crawling over any rocks with them. :)

LOL, Don't blame you a bit.. U can drive to the event, then ride w/someone else.

Would suggest going to any events you can though, Meet up with folks in your area, and also put faces to names from folks on here

Thanks again sprdv1, and thanks for turning me upright. I will definitely make some trips. My daughter just graduated from Mizzou and I have gotten to know your fine State over the past 4 years. Great people and great fun.

Hey 1strodeo, thanks very much. I got the carpet and mats online thru Auto Custom Carpets, Inc. I believe they are out of Alabama. They have been around for a long, long time. I have used them for some other projects and they have always provided good product/service. But you do pay for it. Peace.
