In the middle of my 69' build. Project is going well with the exception that I am still undecided on the front buckets. Would like a low back seat similar to OE. Curious what seat frame you have put in your Broncs. I will be recovering them so just looking for a good frame application. I have heard a early 90's Honda Civic seats work well. Would love picts if you have them.

Do you have the original bucket seats? If so, I would get some TMI "Sport" foam and use the original frames and have them reupholstered. The Sport foam gets you extra bolstering and they are very comfortable. I currently have Miata seats in my crawler. They fit great but they are high back seats. You need to find seats that mount low otherwise you'll be looking through the windshield wipers. I did have Civc seats in the crawler before the Miata ones. They also worked well but had a funky 1-sided headrest. I suppose you could get the Civic seats and remove the headrests.

I love the TMI seats. I need to reach out to them and see if they sell just their frames with foam. I do not have the original buckets.

Could be an option to get early mustang seats with tmi upholstery also...basically the same as the Bronco I believe. TMI puts a high price on their seats if you need the frames too.

They do have the Sport upholstery and foam for 68-77 seat frames. If you go to TMI direct they will custom upholster in any color. It's a $120 uncharge for custom color/fabric. I'm talking to them about doing a brighter red than they list as a stock Bronco or Mustang color. Rosette is only available in stock colors but they do have some perforated colors too.
