the only difference I know of is the mounting holes where it bolts to the top of the windshield can be off and maybe side mount areas. No big deal just mark and drill the hole a little bigger. Some of the earlier ones have bolt on support bows at the roof. I think that's it.
The change occurred mid-year 69. If your Bronco has (or had originally) vacuum wipers, the ws frame bolt pattern is same as the 66 to 68 tops. If it has electric wipers it will have the same bolt pattern as the 70-77's But as zombie said, easy to redrill so you can make any year top fit any year Bronco.
My hard top drip rail has no drainage openings. I was at a buddies house and noticed that his had reliefs in all 4 corners for drainage. his is a 77. not sure on the year of my hard top
Well i took at look at one this morning. Real clean...really clean. What should a good top cost? What would you pay? I see some on the free site, and others for 1, 2, up to 6 hundred .

Im swapping my soft top for a good condition hard top this weekend. He was asking $350. The hard top has no rust in the drip rails, working latch/lock, all glass, rubber and chrome trim plus no holes from a roof rack
Blue,
you make a good point. Is it worth me to hold out until summer when I can take my top back off. Then maybe I might find time to restore mine. Cutting out all the rust welding in new sheet metal then paint. Or just pony up now the bread and pick up this one that is really clean. choices, choices....
