Q
what are the differences between the 66-67 and the 68?-76 Bronco hoods? Size? Vents? I need to figure out what I have. It's not fitting my 74 Bronco, but I think my front left got hit and repaired poorly by PO.

I'm pretty sure the dimensions are exactly the same. The 66-67 has holes for the windshield fold down latch.

Holes for the fold down latch and location of the windshield fluid " nozzles" is about it. I read once that the braces were a little different but I never verified that

The windshield hold down loop was a mid-year 69 change. It got deleted when they went to electric wipers. There are bracing differences as well for the early hoods. Plus the front lip fold is different on the very early ones as I recall. Check out the 66 features thread for more details. As said, the dimensions are the same so any year hood should physically fit. You may need to adjust or shim your fenders.

Looks like I need to try and make this hood work. Is it salvageable? Surface rust underneath, but the leading edge is chipping thru. Any advice is welcome.
