Insurance-beware

As an adjuster I can tell you that your agent is the last person you should believe. you need to get a copy of the actual policy including exclusions and valuation clauses.

The classic car insurers like Hagerty sound good but if you read the policy it must be garaged, requires limited driving, excludes offroad driving and has many more limitations. i would be very surprised if you collect even remotely what you think on a claim-if you even collect anything at all- or if you collect but it takes a year or two. These policies are designed for show vehicles that get very litte use and that is how the language is written. you will lose if you try to go with one of the classic car insurance co's with a Bronco.

The NADA is showing $21,600 on a fully restored high retail vehicle.
i would be surprised if anyone gave you more than that.
