Hello, I just thought I'd give a quick introduction of myself as I have been a long time reader of this website, and have really enjoyed the friendly helpful atmosphere. I have just recently purchased my 3rd EB. I had been without a Bronco for ten years having sold my 1977 in 1995 and before that I had a 1976 Ranger, and have spent much of that time looking to replace it. Unfortunately prices had been steadily increasing over that time, so purchase has always just been out of reach. Also I am a fan of the uncut Broncos and didn't want to have to deal with rust issues, and living in Wisconsin I didn't find much to choose from at an affordable (for me) price. I put together a very quick little webpage for pictures if anyone cares to look.

I am planning a gradual driving restoration/modification. A previous owner upgraded to 4 wheel disc brakes, and my plans are to improve the handling and street driving reliability/performance as that is where it will be driven. When all the mechanical upgrades are done, I'm hoping to then treat it to some body and paint work as the rockers, fenders, hood and grill all have some dents along with the drivers rear fender. The good part is there is little to no rust. Thanks for the great resource you all provide.

Hey Kurt
Welcome back to the familly

Looks like a great rig you got there.

Like you I am on my 3rd Bronco, after being away for a bunch of years. Somehow they allways make you come back ;D

Welcome back as well, great looking truck to start with.
This is my first go around but I can already tell it won't be my last.

Very nice uncut EB. I can relate with the lack of minimal rust EB's in Wisconsin. I purchased an uncut '66 halfcab locally a few years ago, and have been slowly collecting parts for it.

Welcome back! What part of Wisconsin are you in? I grew up in Racine, went to school in Milwaukee and the day I graduated headed to my favorite state Colorado. I feel for the rust problems back there, if there is anything you need rust free let me know. It always makes me laugh Colorado trucks have 150k miles and are pretty solid and Wisconsin Trucks have 75k and are Flinstone mobiles!
Good Luck with your project, I look forward to seeing it evolve.

Great memory!!! Yes, that is the one I purchased. I have been a Bronco Driver subscriber since the beginning, so I have that issue as well.

Dennis, I am on the other side of the state from Racine, in the Eau Claire area.

Thanks to all for the welcome and nice comments. ;D

Thanks for the nice comments and welcome everyone. Even though I like it, I still find myself looking at Broncos for sale everyday though wondering if I got an OK deal, or if I paid too much. Oh well, at least my ten year drought is over.
