So I have this Bronco project that I'm not sure if I really want to tackle.

Back story is I was really active on here a few years ago. Dad and I built many broncos together. Between the 2 of us we have probably had close to 39 over the years. I stopped doing this because life got busy and he got out of them also. Well I had a chance to pick up this one, a 1975 with a decent frame and a shot body. Chassis is decent has frame repair done, is a 302 c4 ps truck, I have axles and drivetrain but not together yet. Energy suspension master bushing kit, have a complete never mounted fiberglass tub including glass doors, hood, fenders, inner supports, grill, tailgate, and full fiberglass top, none of it has ever been mounted or used. I have rusted out steel door with all the internals, dash, steering column and most other parts. I need a windshield frame and wiring harness as the major parts. I started putting it together but my dad isn't really interested in it, it isn't easy for him anymore . I only wanted it as the last one we did together and to keep but if he isn't able to help I'm not sure if I want it . If I did what would a good starting price be to let it go? I haven't been in the bronco scene in a while and not sure where that would be at. It has the vin and it is clear, I purchased and never title but after moving I haven't been able to find the title , can provide bill of sale

And I really am torn, I'd love to do one more but not if he isn't able to. It wouldn't mean the same.

You my friend have "burn out." How do I know? I've done vintage Porsches for decades. One day, woke up and BAM ! No more '58 Speedsters or Factory 904
Same with early Broncos. One day it just happened. Now a vehicle is just a vehicle.

Man, sucks to hear. And I'm sure I'll ruffle a few feathers here but you have a few things really working against you on this one. Namely being the Fiberglass body. Corey makes a hell of a Bronco body, but the market for fiberglass is exponentially lower than steel.

With a clean title, a frame half put together without a drivetrain in place and it's condition unknown, and a fiberglass body completely disassembled, I'd say you'd be doing QUITE well to be in the neighborhood of $6000. Location and availability of a title are also factors in this.

I'll have the drivetrain in before id sell. I know fiberglass isn't as desirable but in Michigan if you want to drive it all year like I did it's helpful.

I'm definitely burnt out between work and family it just isn't the same anymore. I have 6th Gen I drive daily and not sure if I would even get this one out of I did it but I hate having it just sit there too. Half thinking about selling or trading for a mustang or something that everyone could enjoy in the house

sounds like building broncos was a shared pastime with between you and dad. i totally understand the sentiment there. many of us share the similar. is this 75 something you can enjoy with your family or would it just be a bronco you build yourself? my son loves wrenching on the bronco with me.

I get it, I am in MI too, thought I couldn't possibly imagine driving an old Bronco on our salt covered roads. My toys all get parked from October-April.
