Bronco-specific drop-in-tank EFI pump and pickup assy?

I know there are (incredibly expensive) aftermarket fabricated gas tanks with EFI pump provisions, but does anyone offer an in-tank EFI pump and pickup assy for stock Bronco gas tanks? I'd rather run an in-tank pump than a frame mounted one.

I haven't seen one... Most ditch the small factory tanks and get a larger rear tank as running two tanks gets complicated with EFI.

Have you checked out Aero fuel tanks in Riverside, Ca? I know they have gone up in price, they are not a "Pretty" tank, but they are rugged and reasonably priced in comparison to those higher priced units... Jake is the person to speak with, and tell him Doug from Norcal broncos suggested you check them out.

I've never heard of them, but Googled them and the 23 gallon Bronco tank looks like the way to go, it's a great price compared to other's I've seen. Thanks for the help.

Aero will also customize tanks for you. I have had a few made by them. They are not for show cars but certainly a great value.

Since they do custom work to a point, I wonder why they won’t make someone that auxiliary bronco tank anymore?

Paul, I had one on my 77, basically a holding tank that I pumped its fuel into the rear main tank. Didn't care for its mounting, two long bolts through the tank. I don't think they sold a lot of them. In Fact, after all the mass-buys we did on the NorCal site, I think we only bought only two side tanks in total. Why make something nobody buys...

Yes most of my recent purchases were for Explorer EFI, where they will configure the tank to accept the Explorer fuel pump assembly. Great if you are running the 99-01 single fuel line, as the Explorer assembly has the fuel regulator in it. One less thing to plumb up... I believe you lose about a gallon of fuel capacity as the assembly has to sit lower in the tank.

Yes, not a Pretty tank like the SS one WH's sells. And Jake is great to work with at Aero.

Thanks Doug. I figured it was something like that.
Even I didn’t like that mounting method and avoided it for years. I thought it would be nice to come up with something else.
And with the robustness of their skid plate design I wouldn’t have any qualms about it hanging slightly lower if that’s what it took.
