If you DO wanna spend a bit of coin, I'd suggest going for this one, recently posted by the son for his deceased father. Seems like the father did a good job but didn't finish anything anyone could drive off in. 10k Would get you there.

It just takes patients, sometimes it’s hard to find one, just when you think they are all in terrible shape, you then find a descent one you can work with.

My personal feeling is that's good news. Given the transaction on the '77 it didn't sound like the seller was trustworthy to begin with.

Well after settling on a price for the 75. It now appears the owners brother sold it to a friend without him knowing about it. He was out of town at the time. He told me he couldn't do anything about it since his brother took payment from him. Nice...Still on the look out for EB.
I'm also finding even at $9000-$12000 prices most of them still are pretty rusty.
