If you are in the area of Milwaukee Wisconsin on Sunday Aug.6 you will want to attend the Milwaukee Concours d’Elegance. The Broncos are a Featured Class this year. There will be about 10 Broncos there.

The Holman Moody/ Stroppe "Bronco Hunter" will be there fresh out of restoration, the Kar Kraft "Boss Bronco", a Baja, Seth Burgett's ex-Carroll Shelby 1966 Bronco. Also in attendance will be Tim Hulick's Peacock Blue Roadster and my Orange 74 Ranger.

See you there, Jack

That is so cool! Yes, pics later please.

I love the Keeneland Concours d’Elegance that we have over in Lexington, Ky every year. Always an awesome show, every time I see cars I'd never even heard of before! And I've been lucky enough to have my '69 Boss 302 and my '89 Saleen Mustang invited to be in some in the past few years. Now my '66 Bronco is always there just as a "display only" vehicle. It's kinda' neat when the Ferrari, Porsche, Duesenberg, crowd are around an old Bronco taking pictures!;D

Like I told a few, looking forward to this event! I usually do not like car shows in general, but this one in particular has me interested. Seeing the bronco get respect at such a show is cool. And then of course being amongst very high end/valuable cars is better yet. But I'm mainly looking forward to seeing the people and their responses! I've witnessed and even seen a few members here explain how crowds flock to the bronco and then no one looking at the million dollar car sitting next to it. That would be cool!

What a great weekend! There were about 10 Early Bronco's featured at the 17 annual Milwaukee concours d'elegance. All were Beautiful examples of our beloved Thoroughbred Bronco's.

Tim and I both won at our first Concours d'Elegance.
We represented the Bronco Community quite well.
Tim won the Award of Excellence with his outstanding restoration on his 66 Roadster and I took home a Preservation Award with my all original 74 Ranger.

Here is a Video of Tim winning the "Award of Excellence"
Wayne Carini was the Host and announcer for the show and he absolutely loved Tim's Roadster.

Sorry for the quality, my first phone video?:?

Thanks guys! My 19 year old daughter and I had a blast. She commented all the way home how much fun it was being at the show and hanging out with bronco dudes! And as I suspected, the broncos stole the show. At one point, we saw about ten women all wearing the same style dresses crowding around the roadster getting their picture taken. Not sure what was up with that but pretty neat to see.

And all the broncos invited to this event were stellar! From the first bronco/shelby owned bronco to Tom B's Stroppe to the Boss bronco and even a couple sweet '77s. Normally I do not like car shows but the way that the event was set up with circular pods of vehicles gave ample room to stand back and see all the cars without spectator interference. Just a great venue!

Colin Comer's prototype "Boss Bronco"!

Of course Jack Niederkorn's killer bold orange '74 ranger won the well deserved "Preservation Award". This rig is just awesome in it's original form! One of my all time favorites!
